Collaborations
Larissa Basset
Keegan Hedley's primary collaborative partner is Larissa Basset. Basset and Hedley met while attending Blessed Trinity CSS through the music program there in 2022 under the direction of Angela Maccaroni. They have been performing together as a duo ever since. Larissa Basset is currently studying with Dr. Erika Reiman at Brock University and is in the process of completing her Bachelor of Music. She teaches privately at the Lincoln House of Music and began her studies of piano at age six with Kristina Yole.
Accompanying Each Other
Hedley and Basset often perform and rehearse together to expand each other's musical skill. They teach each other collaboration in different ways. In performance, Basset and Hedley have played incidental music for church services, as well as guests in recital. They plan to perform a solo recital together in the Spring of 2025. Thus far, they have worked through every period playing composers like Telemann, Mozart, Saint-Saens, Garfield, Grant-Still, and more.
